In the morning depart for Hassan. On the way, you will see Shravanbelagola. Shravanbelagola is famous for a 120 meters high figure of Lord Gomateswara, carved from single piece of granite stone. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of the world-renowned temples of Belur and Halebid of Hassan. Belur and Halebid have a series of caqrved temples in between them. Take a drive to Ooty, an ideal hill retreat in South India in afternoon. Located about 158 Kms of Mysore, Ooty is famous as a peaceful hill station since the colonial era. Reach Ooty and check in the hotel. Take a half day sightseeing tour of Botanical Gardens, Dodabetta Peak and Ooty Lake. Stay overnight in Ooty. |
